Catch a Glimpse of the 2018 Honda Odyssey Interior

The 2018 Honda Odyssey is finally here, and drivers in the Wisconsin Heartland area can’t wait to see what it can do. Past generations of the Honda Odyssey have offered a roomy, luxurious interior loaded with creature comforts and high-end technologies, and most folks expect more of the same from this year’s model. As noted in a recently published review from the writers at Motor Trend, the 2018 Odyssey provides even more space and more seating flexibility than it has in the past, and what’s more, it’s also received a host of new standard features. Drivers can get a sense of what to expect from the Odyssey by reading our breakdown of its interior, but we’re sure that no amount of description will completely capture the Odyssey’s essence. At the end of the day, there’s no substitute for getting behind the wheel to experience the Odyssey for yourself!

Room for Everyone: Honda Odyssey Seating, Passenger Volume, and Cargo Space

For many Wisconsin families, loading up the minivan with passengers and cargo can often feel like a hassle, but those who’ve spent time in the 2018 Odyssey know that it doesn’t have to be that way! For starters, the new Odyssey offers up to 163.6 cubic feet of passenger space, and there’s enough space for everyone to feel at home in each of its three rows of seating.

Odyssey owners will be able to seat seven in the baseline LX trim, and in every other model, your capacity jumps to eight—thanks to the inclusion of a multi-function second-row center seat. Likewise, in the EX and above, the Odyssey comes standard with Magic Slide second-row seats with a walk-in feature that makes it easier than ever to access the rear seats.

Of course, every Odyssey also comes standard with a One-Motion 60/40-split third-row Magic Seat that lets you increase your cargo space in a matter of moments. Without any adjustments, the Odyssey offers 38.0 cubic feet of cargo space, and when you take advantage of its mobile third- and second-row seats, it offers 92.0 and 158.0 cubic feet behind each row, respectively. Heated front seats and a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat both come standard on the EX, and on upper level trims, buyers will be able to access everything from leather-trimmed seating to front seat ventilation.

The Odyssey LX comes equipped with a 160-watt seven-speaker audio system and a subwoofer, and right from the start, you’ll be able to play your favorite music using Bluetooth streaming audio and the Odyssey’s USB audio interface.

In the next step up, Odyssey buyers will receive an even larger suite of audio features that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM, and more. In the fully upgraded Elite trim, the Odyssey offers a stunning 550-watt 11-speaker audio system with multi-zone audio.

To help you get a better sense of what to expect before you take the Odyssey for a test drive, we’ve highlighted a few of its most impressive interior features below. Be sure to try them all when you have the chance to get behind the wheel!
